АННОТАЦИЯ:
Рассмотрена весьма злободневная проблема, связанная с появлением в последние годы специфического феномена в научной журналистике – так называемых «мусорных» журналов. Высказано мнение, что первопричиной этого, с одной стороны, является коммерциализация официальной науки, с другой – то, что в современном научном сообществе есть немало лиц, низкий уровень научных изысканий которых не позволяет им надеяться на публикацию сво- их статей в авторитетных научных журналах, и в частности тех, которые индексируются в Web of Science и Scopus. Высказан ряд рекомендаций относительно того, как избежать нежелательного опубликования статей в подобных журналах.

The extremely serious problem associated with the emergence in recent years of a specific phenomenon in scientific journalism, namely with the so-called “garbage” journals, has been considered. The opinion that the first reason for this, on the one hand, is the commercialization of official science, has been expressed. On the other hand, the fact that there are many people in the modern scientific community whose low level of scientific research does not allow them to hope for the publication of their articles in authoritative scientific journals, and in particular those that are indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus. A number of recommendations concerning of this how to avoid undesirable publication of articles in such journals, was presented.
