Sociology of Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed professional bilingual international Journal (prints papers in both English and Russian) quarterly published under the scientific guidance of the Institute for the History of Science and Technology (Saint Petersburg Branch), Russian Academy of Sciences. The Journal was founded in 2009 and was first published in 2010 by the Publishing House “Nestor-Historia”.
The journal aim is to provide the most complete and reliable source of information on the recent developments in sociology of science and technology.
The Sociology of Science and Technology publishes research articles (in English or Russian), reviews, and letters on the following topics: science and society; science and technology policy; science communications; scientific mobility; gender and science; social positions and social roles of scientists; science and education; history of sociology of science; social problems of modern technologies and other related themes.
