АННОТАЦИЯ: Статья посвящена выявлению социальных ролей и социальных позиций ученого. На основе анкетного опроса выделены те роли, которые выполняют ученые в соответствии со своим статусом и позицией, занимаемой в обществе. Процесс освоения индивидом социальных ролей осуществляется в ходе социализации личности. Социальная роль определяется как совокупность ожиданий и требований, предъявляемых социальной группой и обществом к лицам, занимающим определенные статусные позиции. Выявляется, какие роли выполняет ученый, являясь частью научного сообщества, какая позиция ему определена обществом.

This article is devoted to the social position and social roles of the scientist. On the basis of the interview, the author emphasizes the roles that scientists perform in accordance with their status, their positions in society. The process of assimilation of individual social roles performed in the course of socialization. Social role can be defined as a set of expectations and requirements of a social group, society to those who hold certain status positions. Today science belongs to a leading role in the development of the country, so even at the initial stage it is necessary to determine what role the scientist performs, what position he occupies in society.
