АННОТАЦИЯ:
The article describes the development of a theoretical sociology teaching in St Petersburg State University and its phased differentiation at the bachelor, master and postgraduate (aspirantura) levels of education for almost 25 years. During the first period (1989/90-1999/2000 academic years) the basic concept of teaching was elaborated. It revealed the functions of the main sociological categories that gave orientations in the structure of theoretical sociology at the bachelor’s level. During the second period (1999/2000-2012/13 academic years) new course Modern Sociological Theories was elaborated for students enrolled in master’s. This course deepened the theoretical training level and provided studying of a contribution of national schools in general sociology in a situation of multi-paradigmality. The third postgraduate period (from 2013/2014 academic year) is aimed on an integration of an aspirant into the international theoretical discourse in sociology and maintenance his work on thesis.
